Ralston Grange readies to host holiday community events

Contributed by Randy Roth

The Ralston Grange will host a community Thanksgiving potluck and program at their hall in Ralston on Tuesday, November 20.

The potluck will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the program. The Grange will provide ham and turkey, beverages and table service. Those attending are asked to provide a potluck dish or two to share.

At the program, local area Veterans will be honored as thanks will be given for their service to our country. Also as part of the program, thanks and acknowledgment will be given to the dedicated EMT’s serving the Lind, Ritzville and Washtucna area. A special invitation is extended to both groups to attend the evening’s activities.

On Sunday, December 2 the Grange will look forward to a visit from Santa at its annual community Christmas potluck and party, which will start at 5 p.m. at their hall.

This will be the 88th year that the Ralston Grange has sponsored this family event, which for many families has been the traditional start of their Christmas season. The program entertainment is provided by those attending, with children and adults welcome to contribute a program number of their choice.

The general public is invited to attend either of the upcoming Grange-sponsored events. Anyone wanting more information may contact the Grange by emailing [email protected] or by phone at: (509) 659-0893.
