Ballots for the Nov. 6 general election were mailed out last week to voters in Washington state.
Voters have until 8 p.m. on Nov. 6 to return their ballots at designated drop boxes located at: Ritzville City Hall, Adams County Public Services in Othello, Washtucna City Hall and Lind City Hall. Voters can also drop off their ballot at the Adams County Auditor’s Office at 210 W Broadway Ave.
Starting this year, Washington state is also providing postage-paid ballot return envelopes this year. Voters are encouraged to mail in their ballots prior to Nov. 2 to ensure that the envelopes are postmarked by Election Day.
Any registered voter who doesn’t receive a ballot by Oct. 26 should contact the Adams County Auditor’s Office to obtain a replacement. Registered voters can verify their status and information online at MyVote.wa.gov or by consulting with county election officials.
Eligible voters who have not yet registered to vote have until Oct. 29 to sign up in person to vote in this election.
