Lady Broncos volleyball goes 0-3 in matches

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Lady Broncos volleyball team hit a few mid-season hurdles after they went 0-3 in competition last week.

LRS began with a 3-1 loss to defending Northeast 2B South League champions Colfax in a league match on Sept. 18.

The Lady Broncos won a first close set before the Lady Bulldogs rebounded to win the next three and the match: 26-24, 17-25, 17-25 and 20-25.

Head Coach Cari Galbreath said LRS competed well against Colfax in the beginning and was glad the team won the first set. She attributed the loss to a combination of several missed serves and the inexperience of a...
