Homecoming week is in full swing for students at Lind-Ritzville High School (LRHS) and the Broncos are gearing up for competition in both volleyball and football.

On Sept. 14, the Broncos hosted Wilbur-Creston where they faced a 38-36 loss. Athletes like Spencer Gering (photo) will return to the gridiron on Sept. 21 to face Columbia-Burbank in the hopes of earning a Homecoming win.

The Lady Broncos will face Liberty on Sept. 20 in Gilson Gym at 6 p.m. in their first home match of the season.

During both games for the Broncos, the Homecoming court will be announced and recognized.

This year’s court includes Freshman Princess Dakota Killian, Escort Eric Hayes, Sophomore Princess Julia Klein, Escort Raymond Melville, Junior Princess Brinley Moore, Escort Bryce Hansen, Queen Brooke Koch and King Shontz Yaeger.

Throughout Homecoming week, LRHS students have participated in dress up days, as well as Muscle Man Volleyball and Powder Puff Football games.
