StageWest show directed by Ritzville residents

StageWest’s next theatrical production “Love Letters” by J.R. Gurney, will be directed by Ritzville resident Harry Schafer and assisted by Kathryn Schafer.

It is the story of a 50-year correspondence between Melissa Gardner and childhood friend, turned love interest Andrew Makepeace Ladd III. It is a touching romance that comes alive through pen and paper and the lives of the characters play out in the viewers’ imagination.

To truly appreciate all that “Love Letters” has to offer, just sit there and listen. The words describe a world of emotion. It is a tender, touching, frequently funny unique theatre piece.

Performances are Sep 28 thru Oct. 13. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m.

A special dinner theater catered by Mike Hartman, will be at the Saturday, Oct. 13, performance at 6 p.m.

Dinner theater is reservation only and is $30. Regular performance ticket prices are between $5-$12.
