One killed in rollover crash south of Ritzville

One person was killed after a one-car rollover collision on U.S. Route 395, south of Ritzville city limits on Aug. 23.

A Washington State Patrol report stated at approximately 2:45 a.m., Loren McGhan, 18, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Caviler northbound on US 395.

The vehicle left the roadway to the left and veered back to the right where it rolled. McGhan was ejected from the vehicle.

Joshua Nobile, 41, was driving a semi-truck northbound and was unable to avoid striking McGhan.

The report stated McGhan was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.
