Author reading on Aug. 18

East Adams Library District is hosting an author reading with author Betsy Dickinson at the Ritzville Public Library on Aug. 18 at 1 p.m.

Dickinson will read from her book, “The Water Master.” There will be a question and answer session with Dickinson following the reading.

She was born and raised north of Chicago in Waukegan, Illinois. She moved to the Northwest in 1992 and has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, and a human resources manager.

Dickinson has visited all 50 states in the United States, as well as Canada and England.
