Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887

Summer Reading program begins

The East Adams Library District’s (EALD) Summer Reading program begins on June 18.

Readers of all ages can keep track of their reading progress throughout the summer. Every participant who meets their reading goal by Aug. 25 receives a bag of prizes, and is entered into a grand prize drawing.

There will also be weekly summer activities. As a part of this year’s “Libraries Rock!” program, patrons will have a chance to learn more about music, geology, dinosaurs and space.

EALD will be holding a summer kickoff event with Mobius Science Center, “The Science of Sound,” June 16 at 11 a.m. at the Ritzville Grade School gym.
