Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887

David Edward Miller

Note: With alumni returning home for the annual banquet, the Ritzville High School Class of 1967 wanted to take this opportunity to remember these classmates, who did not have published obituaries at the time of their passing.

David was born Sept. 23, 1948, and died June 9, 2017. After graduation, David moved to Kettle Falls, where he was employed by Boise Cascade Mill for 30 years until an injury forced him to change careers.

He took care of his ailing father, drove a fuel truck and also invested in a shoe/shoe repair and clothing store and became an assistant manager.

David married in 1978. He had two sons, Barry (California) and Gerald ‘Jerry’ (Oregon) and they went on countless fishing and hunting trips all around the Stevens County area.

He was known to be dogmatic, loved his family unconditionally and had a great sense of humor along subjecting others to his pranks. David’s other passion was trap shooting, in addition to spending time with his brother, Dale Miller, (RHS Class of 1970) of Kettle Falls.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Barbara (Cole) Miller. David will be inurned in the Columbia River above Northport.
