Washtucna plans Memorial Day weekend events

The Washtucna community will celebrate the Memorial Day weekend with the annual alumni banquet and memorial service.

The Washtucna High School Alumni Banquet begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the Washtucna School.

The honored classes have the opportunity to have photos taken by The Journal before the banquet starts.

On Monday, May 28, the Washtucna Pioneer Memorial Cemetery services begin at 11 a.m. with a prayer, readings and honoring veterans.
