Schell, Melville record points for LRS track team

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track and field team competed in the Glen Wolf Memorial Invite in Deer Park on Friday, March 30.

The LRS women’s team placed fifth 58 points.

Senior athlete Rachel Schell, who placed first in the 100-meter and the 200-meter races, led the team in points.

She also helped secure a third place finish in the 4x100-meter relay as the anchor leg for the team.

Rose Melville, who garnered a second place finish in the 800-meter and 3200-meter races, closely followed Schell in points for the LRS team.

The Broncos men’s team finished in 13th place with 12 points.
