Ralston Grange offers scholarships

The David L. and Francis G. Ray Scholarship, sponsored by the Ralston Grange and Rimrock Grange, is available to high school seniors and home-schooled seniors in the Ritzville, Lind, Washtucna and LaCrosse school districts.

In addition, any senior living outside of these districts who is a descendant of a current Ralston or Rimrock Grange member may also apply. Applications are due by April 1.

Applicants do not need to be grange members, but must have a 3.0 or higher grade point and demonstrate academic excellence, community service and good citizenship.

Up to $3,000 will be distributed to scholarship recipients.

The Inland Northwest Community Foundation manages the scholarship, and applications may be found at their website, http://inwcf.org or by calling 509-624-2606.

The Marie Snyder Memorial Scholarship is available to seniors at Kahlotus or Washtucna schools or members of the Ralston Grange.

The deadline for applying for this scholarship is also April 1.
