Commissioners select Wheeler Excavation for Lind-Warden Road project

The Adams County Board of Commissioners signed a contract with Wheeler Excavation LLC of Benton County for the emergency road repairs on Lind-Warden Road during the regular meeting on April 10.

After excess moisture from rainfall caused the road to wash out, County Engineer Scott Yaeger submitted the project details to the Federal Highway Administration and Department of Transportation.

During the meeting, Yaeger said both agencies approved the projects as being eligible for an emergency relief project and possible reimbursement for the emergency work.
