Registration open for Ritzville Parade

The Ritzville Community Parade is on Saturday, Sept. 3, beginning at 11 a.m. Entry forms can be picked up at the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce office, and participants are asked to submit the parade forms by Wednesday, Aug. 31.

In addition, forms for the main parade may be filled out on the chamber’s website at http://www.visitritzville.com and clicking on the link “Parade Entry Form” on the right hand side in the middle of the page.

Grand marshals for the 2016 parade are Jim and Bev Cobb.

The Ritzville Junior Parade begins at 10:45 a.m. and the theme is “Tropical Paradise.”

Entry forms are also available at the chamber office as well as downloaded at the chamber’s website.

The forms may be turned in the day of the parade.

All children participating in the parade should meet at Sloan-Leavitt Insurance at 403 West Main Avenue by 10 a.m. for judging. Judging begins promptly at 10:15 a.m.

Judges will also select a grand prize, and the winner will join the main parade entries for another trip through the route.

No motorized entries are allowed in the junior parade.

All junior parade entrants will receive a ribbon.
