Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887

Respecting others’ opinions regardless of vote

I voted yes! Why? Well my neighbor has a sign out that said to vote yes; Didn’t want to hurt their feelings.

I voted no! Why? I’m on Social Security. Can’t these people live within their income? We bought them a new gym floor, a new gym roof, they got their new track. Now they want a new gym. Somebody needs to be educated!

I voted yes! Why? My friend works there.

I voted no! Why? Way too much money, Do you think this school will double it’s size in 10 years? 20 years?

I voted yes! Why? Schools are good for the community.

I voted no! Why? Only $2 per thousand? Add that up per year times 20. Also, do you think your evaluation will stay the same?

I voted no! Why? I’m sick of levies, Hospital, Park, City, School! They all say they have nothing to do with each other, Guess again!

I have one pocket book. All that money comes out of my one pocket book.

We each have our own opinions and must respect each other and be gracious to each other.
