I-90 homicide suspect facing trial in April

Manuel Argomaniz-Camargo, 33, is facing first degree murder charges with a domestic violence enhancement after being arrested in connect to the murder of Ana Veronica Montelago Garcia.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office investigated the homicide after discovering Garcia on the roadside of I-90 on March 1.

Argomaniz-Camargo appeared in Adams County Superior Court for his arraignment on March 15 where he entered a not guilty plea. The trial has been set to occur on April 26 at 9 a.m.

Adams County Prosecutor Randy Flyckt informed the court the State is currently investigating Argomaniz-Camargo’s criminal history, which could lead to an aggravated first degree murder charge if sufficient evidence is found.

Flyckt added they are also considering attempted arson and possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute.
