LRS softball continues in districts

Lady Broncos won their first round of districts against Reardan in a loser-out battle Tuesday, May 12, in Springdale.

They came back in the bottom of the sixth inning from 0-3 taking the lead against the Indians 4-3.

Bottom of the seventh with a score of 8-3, Lady Broncos played tough defense to hold and beat the Indians in the first, loser-out game.

Going on to play Springdale, Lady Broncos took the lead early with 4-0 in the first inning holding the score through the fourth inning.

Springdale came alive in the fifth inning scoring five runs but still behind by one.

Lady Broncos played well through the games but Springdale was able to come back for a 6-10 win over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.

Tuesday, May 11, will be the next scheduled district game for the Lady Broncos.
