Live performance from American Idol contestant

On Jan. 30 Ritzville Grade School first through fifth grade students and Lind-Ritzville High School students will enjoy a live performance by Lovey James, a current American Idol contestant.

James is a 16-year-old from Protland, Oregon.

She will be performing in Ritzville at 12:30 p.m. for the elementary students and 1:30 p.m. for the high school students in the grade school gymnasium.

James will be performing at 6 p.m. in Spokane on Jan. 30 as well.

Her songs and message will teach about anti-bullying and believing in oneself.

The Ritzville performance is made possible by a grant that the Ritzville Education Association received from the Washington Education Association.
