Lending a helping hand: Thrift store in Washtucna assists those in need

Carol Tesch will be the first one to tell you life is not always easy, having known firsthand the difficulties and struggles that can occur.

But instead of letting negativity into her life, Tesch has stepped up to provide an outreach service to those in need through the Helping Hand Thrift Shop in Washtucna.

The shop has been open for three months on Main Street, but Tesch’s dream to help others spans for years.
