Gail received first in French Horn Solo and Britte competed in Tuba Solo.

The Harder duo also earned first place for their Small Brass Ensemble.

The top finishs in the categories of French Horn Solo and Small Brass Ensemble allow the girls to compete in the State Solo/Ensemble Festival in Ellensburg on April 25 and 26.

Gail and sixth grade student Daphnee Smith performed at the Washington Music Educators Association Conference in Yakima Feb. 15 and 16.

Gail played French Horn in the All-State Wind Symphony and Smith sang soprano in the All-State Youth Honor’s Chorus.
