June 1, 4:46 p.m. –

Ritzville complainant advised of a stop sign down on West Urquhart Road and West Schrag Road. Deputy Dan Verhey located the sign and attempted to put it back in its location. Dep. Verhey forwarded the information to public works.

June 1, 11:40 a.m. – Washtucna complainant advised of a silver Pontiac type vehicle driving at a high rate across both lanes of travel near the school on East Booth Avenue. Deputy Jeffrey Lane responded from the Ritzville area and checked all of Washtucna but was unable to located the described vehicle.

June 1, 11:32 a.m. – Complainant from Richland requested assistance with an eviction order on West May Avenue in Washtucna. Deputy Lane advised the complainant to contact the courts or the chief civil deputy for assistance in enforcing the order.

May 31, 7:40 a.m. – Whitman County Sheriff called and advised of an incident at the LaCrosse School where a threat was made toward a teacher. The complainant wanted the sheriffs office to be aware of the situation since the teacher lives in Washtucna.

May 29, 3:39 p.m. –

A representative of the Lincoln County Sheriffs office called and advised of an assault in Lind, with a student as the victim. Deputy Lane assisted.

May 29, 2:44 p.m. – Adams County Community Counseling requested an agency assist in the 500 block of North E Street in Lind for a pick up order. Sergeant Troy Mock approved the assist and Deputy Verhey responded, picked up the subject and transported them to East Adams Rural Hospital to meet the complainant.

May 29, 2:26 p.m. – Lind complainant requested assistance in the 500 block of North E Street with a transport. Deputy Lane responded and assisted as needed.

May 28, 12:16 a.m. – Ritzville Police department requested agency assistance on Smitty’s Boulevard with a possible armed subject. Deputy Brad Zook contacted Sergeant Brain Taylor who approved the agency assist.

May 27, 8:36 p.m. – Complainant from Kirkland advised of a possible intoxicated female drinking a beer and getting into a yellow car. Complainant was unable to provide a description of the subject and the direction of the vehicle. Deputy Zook responded to the area and was unable to locate the vehicle and its subject.

May 27, 7:29 p.m. – WSP reported a disabled vehicle in a location on West Koch Road in Ritzville. Deputy Lane responded and the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

May 27, 5:22 p.m. –

Deputy Lane observed a traffic hazard on East Highway 26 near milepost 90. Dep. Lane made contact and removed several towels from the roadway.

May 27, 3:42 p.m. –

Ritzville complainant advised of a suspicious vehicle parked at a location on North McCall Road. Upon arrival, Deputy Lane observed the vehicle off the roadway parked near the Columbia Plateau Trail. No one was around the vehicle.

May 27, 10:41 a.m. –

Ritzville complainant requested contact in reference to a photo they had of someone trespassing on their property near Fennell Lake. Deputy Ned Bernath contacted the complainant who advised they would email the photos to the sheriff’s office and wait for contact.

May 26, 11:04 p.m. –

Ritzville complainant advised of a theft in progress on North Moody Road. Complainant advised of a suspect wearing light colored pants and a full-face stocking mask who fled toward Moody Road. Later a black car drove by the residence and went west on Schrag Road. Sergeant Taylor responded and observed shoe prints in a covered area of the residence. The complainant stated a two-gallon gas can had been emptied.

May 26, 2:53 p.m. –

Ritzville complainant advised of a white car next to the tracks on East Danekas Road. Deputy Verhey checked the area and the vehicle was gone upon arrival. The complainant further advised the vehicle was last seen heading into Ritzville.

May 26, 12:01 a.m. – Deputy Verhey stopped a vehicle on East Danekas Road. The driver came back suspended and was arrested for negligent driving in the first degree and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Andrew Douglas Harding was booked into the Adams County Jail.

May 26, 1:18 p.m. –

Sprague complainant advised of subjects lighting off fireworks near North Cow Lake Road, and using fireworks to blow up fish. WSP Trooper Mark Shepherd and Deputy Lane checked the area and were unable to locate any sign of the situation. Fish and Wildlife were notified.
