AAUW to honor six local scholars

Six young women have been named by Lind-Ritzville High School as scholars to be honored by the local Ritzville Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW).

The six young women, their parents and a teacher chosen by each scholar to share in the honor, will be guests for a dinner meeting April 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Emanuel Lutheran Church social room.

Kathy McAnally will serve as emcee for the program.

Each recipient receives a certificate awarded by the Washington State AAUW.
