Marilyn J. Eastwood died on Sunday, Dec. 9, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, due to severe injuries suffered after a fall in her home.

She was born May 14, 1932, to Bill and Aldena Erickson in Kent, Wash. Her only sibling, William Jr. (Bud), was born in 1948. He was killed in Vietnam in 1969, while serving his country as an army communication specialist. He was awarded the Bronze Star for “Heroism in Ground Combat,” and a Purple Heart.
