Lind women graduate basic training

Two local ladies graduated from Basic Military Training (BMT) on Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Lackland Air Force Base in Texas to receive the title of Airman Basic.

Alexandria Whitaker is the daughter of Louetta and Jeff Whitaker and Robert Morgan; and Alicia Bolin is the daughter of Ron and Toni Bolin.

Both graduated from Lind High School in June and the following week were off to Lackland to begin their basic training.

Their training continues in Technical School with an emphasis in Security Forces, until late November.
