Vacation Bible School returns to Washtucna

Washtucna Community Church is holding a four-day vacation Bible school (VBS) beginning Monday, July 30, and running through Thursday, Aug. 2.

The theme is “Son Rise National Park,” and is open to kids from preschool through eighth grade. Class instruction includes Bible stories, music, skits, crafts, games and food.

VBS students have an opportunity to learn lessons provided in the Bible that focus on survival skills such as true peace, abundance, strength and hope.

The VBS sessions begin at 9:30 a.m. with breakfast. The sessions also include lunch and conclude at 12:30 p.m. daily, with a closing program on Thursday.
