Board member needed for library

The Ritzville Library District No. 2 is looking for a person interested in completing a term on the Board of Trustees following Terry Janzen’s resignation earlier this year. The five-member library board meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. Board duties include: attend monthly meetings, approve the annual budget, approve library policies, hire and evaluate librarian, remain informed about library services, and serve as an advocate for the library.

Anyone interested in serving on the board for a term that begins immediately and continues until December 2014, should send a letter of interest to the Ritzville Public Library, 302 West Main Avenue.
