SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE: Hospital district sets special meeting for Friday

The Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 Board of Commissioners will conduct a special meeting on Friday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. in the downstairs conference room at the hospital.

State law requires public entities to give 24 hours notice for such meetings. The Ritzville Journal received an emailed copy of the meeting notice from the district's administrative assistant about 15 minutes prior to 11 a.m. on Thursday.

The meeting was called by Chairman Stacey Plummer and commissioners Jerry Snyder and Jeff Reynolds.

The purpose of the meeting is: 1. Review and consideration of termination of Coast to Coast Health Care Services, Inc., agreement for Locum Tenens provider coverage; and 2. Review and consideration of proposed self-pay financial collection agreements.

The meeting is open to the public.
