Police looking for theft suspect

Ritzville Police are looking for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who reportedly stole batteries from Ritzville Tire Company.

The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday, Dec. 10, when a small pickup truck drove into the back lot of the tire store.

The theft occurred shortly after 5 p.m. According to the store’s surveillance video, a Ford Ranger pulled into the area behind the tire shop.

Approximately $350 in battery cores were taken. According to the video timing, the truck was only on the grounds for about two minutes before backing out and driving away.
