    LAKE ROOSEVELT - The state Department of Fish and Wildlife has released a "rapid response" plan to take extraordinary measures to kill northern pike found in waterways like Lake Roosevelt.     Top saddle bronc horse laid to rest RITZVILLE — Rodeo media is reporting that one of the top saddle bronc horses of the last 20 years has died. Spring Planting, 22 years old, was the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association’s Saddle Bronc Horse of the Year in both 2009 and 2013, rodeo media reported, noting the horse died Feb. 23. My dad took us to at least one day each year sometimes two if I could convince him that all of my school work was finished.
