The Ralston Grange will be sponsoring their Fifth Annual Cribbage Tournament at the hall in Ralston on Saturday, Feb. 3. The event will start at 1 p.m. and it is open to all ages. There will be a $5 entry fee, which will go towards cash prizes. Last year’s tournament winner was Colby Tracy. Four Lind-Ritzville/Sprague wrestlers represented the Broncos at the Coyote Classic Tournament in Kittitas on Jan. 20. Tristan Regan, wrestling at 113 pounds, was one of two Bronco athletes to finish in fourth place in their weight class. Regan pinned Lake Roosevelt’s Everett Schmidt in 40 seconds to advance to the quarterfinals, where he scored a pin over Wahluke’s Hector Cruz in 55 seconds. With eight days between competitions, the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos returned to the hardwood on Jan. 18 to host Wilbur-Creston before continuing on the falling day to face Kettle Falls. The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Lady Broncos basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak with back-to-back Northeast 2B League wins. On. Jan. 19, the Lady Broncos executed a 66-33 victory against Wilbur-Creston in Gilson Gym. The next night, they traveled to Kettle Falls where they defeated the Lady Bulldogs, 43-34.
