The Ritzville Relay For Life committee members are hosting a meeting on Monday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Best Western Plus Bronco Inn to discuss the 2014 Relay For Life event. The meeting is open to the public and any individual interested in participating in the Relay event is encouraged to attend. The Super Bingo fundraiser to benefit The Ritz Theatre, sponsored by the Ralston Grange, begins on Saturday afternoon, April 12, at the grange hall. All proceeds go to The Ritz Theatre fund to help in the purchase of digital projection equipment. The Easter holiday festivities are kicked off with Easter egg hunts in the Ritzville, Lind, Ralston and Washtucna communities, beginning this week. The annual Ralston Grange Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Ralston Park on Saturday, April 12, at 9 a.m. Kids of all ages, from toddler on up, are welcome to participate. The Fourth Annual Tail Waggin’ Dog Walk and Fun Run to support Adams County Pet Rescue (ACPR) is scheduled for Sunday, April 27. After successfully completing the first season at the Lind Community Garden, directors and volunteers are preparing for the second year at the site. With the beginning of the second season, community members can expect to see some changes and developments on the grounds.
