    The eighth annual Safety, Health and Wellness Fair returns to Pioneer Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is hosted by Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2. The annual event underwent a name change this year to accommodate the expansion of the fair, which now includes multiple demonstrations on safety and proactive ways to stay healthy.     The Columbia Basin Development League has announced the 49th Annual Meeting and Conference is to be held on Thursday, Nov. 7.     The annual Wheat Land Communities’ Fair livestock auction drew a large amount of buyers, while simultaneously breaking sale records by netting $116,299 for local exhibitors.
