    Ritzville High School Alumni will gather for the 107th annual banquet and meeting this Saturday, May 26 at Gilson Gymnasium. Ticket sales for this year’s banquet have closed.     The Ritzville Memorial Cemetery is preparing to host a bounty of events in honor of the Memorial Day holiday. Friday, May 25, is the distribution of flags beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, May 28, is the Ritzville Memorial Day Service beginning at 11:30 a.m. That evening at 6 p.m. is the collection of flags.     Lucille E. Telecky passed away at the age of 89 on May 19 after a brief illness. She is the daughter of Henry and Anna (Rosenoff) Danekas, and was born on Sep. 12, 1922, on a farm near Ritzville. She graduated from Ritzville High School in 1940. During WWII she served in the United States Navy (Waves) from 1944 to 1946. In 1948, she married Raymond Telecky. She worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 30 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Zion Philadelphia...

    Families looking for a safe and convenient way to save for college have until May 31 to enroll in Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET).
