  • Local churches announce weekend holiday services

    As the holidays draw near, many local churches have announced the schedules for their upcoming special holiday services. This weekend, the Emanuel Lutheran Church and the Ritzville Nazarene Church will be hosting their Christmas programs on Sunday, Dec. 18.   • Ritzville City Council adopts proposed 2017 fee schedule

    The Ritzville City Council adopted the 2017 proposed fee schedule during their meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The meeting began with a public hearing regarding the proposed 2017 budget and revenue sources. Clerk/Treasurer Kris Robbins stated no changes had been made to the revenue sources since their last meeting on Nov. 15. The Council adopted the proposed 2017 fee schedule.     The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Lady Broncos had a busy week with three games against Tri-Cities Prep (TCP), Liberty and Colfax.     After competing in two nonleague games, the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos went on the road for their first league match up on Friday. The Broncos returned home with a victory over Liberty for the third consecutive time, before hosting Colfax on Saturday night.
