LIND SCHOOL District is accepting applications for: Paraeducator. A part‐ time (7¬‐hours per day) special education Paraprofessional position is available at the Lind Elementary School for the 2019¬‐2020 school year. This contract of employment is contingent on a special education Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that requires the services of a Paraeducator to provide service to a high‐needs student. This position will be re¬‐evaluated on a yearly basis to determine whether future employment will be offered for the ensuing year. Qualifications include: ability to perform instructional tasks and implement an instructional plan, the ability to work patiently and in an appropriate manner with students of all ages, including at‐risk, physically challenged and/ or disadvantaged students, and assist with students’ personal hygiene as needed. The person selected must be flexible and willing to adapt to changes in daily routine, must be self‐motivated, willing to follow directions, and must maintain confidentiality. THE TOWN of Lind is accepting applications for a PT-FT position of a Public Works employee (duties involved will be within the Water, Sewer, Parks, Streets, and Garbage Departments). Starting pay-$12.50/ hr. (DOE). All applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and a valid WA State Driver’s License. Must be able to pass a background check, a pre-employment drug test, and a medical/ physical exam. Applicants must understand that the job will involve working outdoors in all weather and with additional on-call hours. This position will require performing manual labor activities using hand tools and having experience in operating machinery such as backhoe, dump truck, riding lawn mower, etc. is desired but will train. Applicant must possess a current pesticide spray license or be able to obtain within 6 months of employment. Position open until filled.
