WSU EXTENSION Program Assistant - The WSU Adams County Extension is currently accepting applications for an Extension Program Assistant. This position serves public members seeking resource and research information, as well as screens, directs, and supervises volunteer staff. This is a 35-hour per week position with full benefits and a starting hourly rate of Range 6, $14.03 – $15.30 DOE effective January 1, 2020. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to use a computer and other office equipment, and customer service abilities. Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and the ability to successfully complete required trainings. Prior event/ program or volunteer management experience is preferred. We are a 20 bed Critical Access Hospital serving all of East Adams County and offer a wide range of services appropriate for a rural healthcare environment. The primary purpose of the position is the management and administration of all aspects of rehabilitation services for the respective communities as well as maintaining a clinical caseload. The Rehab Services Manager will understand and fulfill the needs of patients and promote an environment that ensures superior clinical and fiscal integrity. The Rehab Services Manager serves as an advocate, educator, liaison and mentor to interdisciplinary team members to include but not limited to providers, nurses and others. Benefits: Medical/ Dental/ Vision/ Lif, Paid Time Off, Continuing Education, Retirement: 403B. Requirements: Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, Current state license in Washington, CPR Certified.
