    OTHELLO - An Adams County Sheriff's Office vehicle sustained minor damage Thursday, Aug. 4, when a deputy tried to apprehend the driver of a stolen car.     RITZVILLE – After a brief reprieve from triple digit highs, Adams County was back under an excessive heat warning Monday and Tuesday. The National Weather Service said the temperatures Monday and Tuesday were expected to range from 100 to 106 degrees across regions of Adams County. As of Monday morning, Aug. 8, the Adams County Auditor's Office was reporting a voter turnout of 36.6 percent.     RITZVILLE -- An Idaho motorist suffered a medical emergency and died near Milepost 93 of U.S. Highway 395 late July 25. Kyle W. Dreher, 41, of Hayden, Idaho, was pronounced dead at East Adams Rural Healthcare, according the Washington State Patrol. His family was notified of his death by the hospital.     WENATCHEE – Amid a record return of sockeye salmon to the Columbia River, sockeye fishing in Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee River is opening.     Wolf-livestock predation rules remain unchanged OLYMPIA – The state Fish and Wildlife Commission decided July 8 not to alter the rules for wolf-livestock conflicts.
