  • Jesus, the Lamb of God

Reverend Charles Jingling, CJ for JC Ministries|Updated Dec 23, 2020

From Luke 2:1-12 “In those days, a decree went out that all the world should be taxed. Everyone went to be taxed, each into his own city. Joseph also went up from Nazareth, into the city of David, called Bethlehem; (because he was of the lineage of David), to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And while they were there, she gave birth to her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room f...

  • Treat others as you want to be treated

Reverend Charles Jingling, RMA member|Updated Feb 15, 2018

What began as a season of political madness has spread throughout our society, and even into many churches. Character assassination has become a staple of our day. It does not matter if the charges are true or verifiable. The press reports the accusation and a person’s reputation is ruined. The public remains fascinated. It reminds me of how during the time of Jesus’ ministry, He was accused of several things, such as associating with tax collectors and sinners, and saying that He healed by the power of Satan instead of adm...

  • Accountability/Giving a Hand

Reverend Charles Jingling, RMA President|Updated Nov 2, 2017

The story from Acts Chapter 3:1-10 is one about the man who had been lame from birth, whose friends carried him daily to the temple gate so that he could sit and beg for a living. And how that man who was lame his entire life suddenly began walking and leaping and praising God after his encounter with the Apostles Peter and John. Acts 3:6-8 tell the main event: “But Peter said, ‘I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene – walk!’ And seizing him by the right h...

  • Remembering what is important

Reverend Charles Jingling, RMA President|Updated May 25, 2017

Memorial Day weekend is here again. After a winter that wouldn’t quit, we are reminded that summer is going to be here soon. This is the season of class reunions and backyard barbecues, of graduations and picnics in the park. Millions of people are on the highways. Campgrounds are full. And we are amazed at how fast time has passed. However, we should always remember the real reason for Memorial Day, which is honoring our fallen heroes in uniform. Earlier this year in a joint session of Congress, President Trump chose to h...

  • Spreading gospel instead of gossip

Reverend Charles Jingling, RMA President|Updated Oct 27, 2016

This is the season of political madness. Character assassination has become a staple in our political system. It does not matter if the charges are true or verifiable. The press reports the accusation and a person’s reputation is ruined. Yet, the public seems to have a fascination with these reports. It reminds me of how during the time of Jesus’ ministry, He was accused of several things, such as associating with tax collectors and sinners and saying that He healed by the power of Satan instead of admitting that He was fro...

  • Church creates family

Reverend Charles Jingling, Benge Community Church|Updated Oct 16, 2014

One thing I like about this part of Adam County is the number of good churches found here. Some, like my home church of Benge Community Church, are more off the beaten path; but after the country drive to get there, we always feel like we’ve arrived home to family. The dear people in Benge have become like family to us; and they really are, because we are all part of God’s family. With all of the many children there are in Benge, I am reminded of how Jesus said to let the little children come unto Him for the kingdom of God...
