    The second half of the Distinguished Young Women “Ritzville Wonderland” float season started with the Pioneer Days parade in Davenport. We had a good time visiting with other royalty at this parade while we waited for the parade to start. Labor Day weekend was busy with two parades on the schedule.   • DYW, Wonderland float garners parade awards

    The Ritzville Wonderland Float and the Distinguished Young Women of Ritzville have been traveling this summer representing our community at various area parades. The first parade we attended was the largest parade of the season, the Spokane Lilac Torchlight Parade. This was the first of two evening lighted parades.
