Dangerous Curves is a team of locals, Mike Thomas and Clint O'Keefe, who formed last year and waited out the pandemic-canceled 2020 season.     COLFAX - Coming off a sweep of Davenport in the season-opener, the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos (1-1) dropped three in a row to the host Bulldogs on Tuesday night, Feb. 23.     LAMONT — Voters are giving an initial thumbs down to a two-year School District levy request in the Tuesday, Feb. 9, special election. Preliminary results show only 40.62% of voters are supporting a two-year replacement levy of $2.50 per $1,000 of assessed property valuation by a vote of 13 yes to 19 no.     COLFAX — A new airline may be flying into Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport in the near future. During a meeting Monday, Dec. 7, Whitman County commissioners approved a $400,000 request for a profit guarantee for SkyWest/United Airlines to fly from Pullman twice per day to Denver.     The Fonk's building in Colfax burned Tuesday night, its roof collapsing in a fire still being investigated Wednesday morning with no cause yet determined. Three people were sent to the hospital in the incident, including two from neighboring apartments and a firefighter. All have since been released.
