QHR to conduct hospital CEO search

QHR – Quorum Health Resources — will conduct a nationwide search for a new administrator for Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2.

The experienced hospital management and consulting firm was hired by the district’s commissioners on Wednesday, Nov. 14, during a special board meeting when an agreement for recruitment services was approved by the commissioners.

During the search process QHR will post the job vacancy in its internal job placement postings, receive and review resumes of interested applicants and conduct background checks on viable candidates before presenting them to the hospital district.

In turn, the district agreed to pay a total of $25,000 for QHR’s services. The first $12,500 will be paid to QHR immediately. The remaining portion of the compensation will be paid when a new administrator has been hired. According to the terms of the agreement, if QHR is unable to provide the district with a suitable candidate during the first six months, the district can opt to continue the search, at no cost, for the next six months.
