Library to start charging late fees

The Ritzville Public Library will begin charging fines for materials not returned by the due date at the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 2.

Patrons may call 659-1222 or e-mail the library at ritzlib@ritzcom.net about renewing items. Items are renewable unless there is a list for a book, magazine, compact disk or DVD.

The library will not honor a grace period – the library item is due by the date stamped in the item. Fines are 10 cents a day per item. Patrons must pay fines prior to using the library and computers.
