Choruses, quartets converge in

grade school gym Saturday

The Barbershop Harmony Society is sponsoring a benefit concert on Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Ritzville Elementary School gym at 7 p.m.

Barbershop choruses and quartets from Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho will present an evening of Barbershop Harmony.

Admittance is a suggested donation of $5 per adult and students are admitted free.

All proceeds will benefit to the vocal music program in the Ritzville School District.

Vocalists from Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho will spend all day at the gym for an interchapter event.

It’s an opportunity for singers to practice their skills and perform with a different group of people.

Community members are welcome to drop by during the day and listen to groups from Ephrata, Ellensburg, Tri-Cities, Yakima, Spokane, Coeur d’Alene and Moscow/Pullman.
