Ray scholarship deadline nears

The deadline to apply for the David L. and Frances G. Ray Scholarship is April 1. Since its inception in 2003, the Ray Scholarship has awarded nearly $20,000 in scholarships to area graduates.

Locally, high school seniors or graduates of Ritzville, Washtucna, Lind, Odessa or Christian Heritage High Schools or school districts, or home schooled seniors in the area may apply.

Interested applicants may visit the Inland Northwest Community Foundation Web site at http://www.inwcf.org for more information on criteria and preferences and to fill out an application or contact their high school counselor.

Sponsors of the scholarship are the Ralston and Rimrock Granges.
