Lind Town Council seeks

appointee for open position

Council members approved a letter of resignation from Linda Derrick during the regular meeting on Jan. 26.

According to the letter, which was received on Jan. 15, Derrick and her husband, John, moved out of the area after the Jan. 12 council meeting.

The town accepted letters of interest from individuals for Position 1 within the town limits until Feb. 9, which was the next council meeting. All council positions are at-large seats.

Due to lack of quorum, the meeting on Feb. 9 was cancelled. As of that afternoon, the town had received three letters of interest.
