Registration open for hunter

education class in Ritzville

A hunter education and firearm safety class will be offered in Ritzville in February. This class is required for anyone born after Jan. 1, 1972, who wishes to purchase a hunting license or shoot on an FFA trapshooting team.

Classes will begin at 6 p.m. and continue to 8:30 p.m. at the Ritzville Gun Club beginning Tuesday, Feb. 2, and continue on Feb. 3, 5, 9 and 10, with range day on Feb. 13.

A parent or guardian must accompany students under the age of 12 years. Class size is limited to 25 students. If the class is full, walk-ins will be turned away.

Every class must be attended, NO EXCEPTIONS! There is no fee for the class because of a donation from Pheasants Forever.
