Ritzville bank accepting recycled Christmas cards

Sterling Savings Bank in Ritzville is collecting the fronts of used Christmas cards to use as ornaments for the annual Giving Tree.

The cards are transformed into ornaments, which are number coded to identify requests, and hung on the Christmas tree at the bank. The ornaments are adopted and filled by community members.

Anyone wishing to donate the fronts of used Christmas cards may drop them off at the bank, located at 108 East First Avenue.
