Kulm to continue as Lind School Board chair

Directors of the Lind School District nominated a slate of officers for 2010 during the Dec. 21 meeting.

Bev Kulm will continue to serve as chairperson while Dwayne Fowles will continue in his role as vice chairman.

Newly-elected director Jennifer Anderson will fill the legislative representative role, which was held by Michelle Fode-Smith, former board member. The legislative representatives are selected mid-year.

In other end-of-year business, the school board agreed by consensus that The Ritzville Adams County Journal will continue as the district’s official media.

The Lind School Board will continue to meet at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month in 2010, except for January. Due to a scheduling conflict, the board will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
