December 17, 2009 Deadline for 2010 conservation financial assistance looms
The end of the year marks the deadline for Washington agricultural producers and landowners interested in protecting or improving natural resources on their land to apply for technical or financial assistance in 2010. Interested agricultural producers need to contact their local USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office before Dec. 31 if they want to qualify for conservation financial assistance in 2010.
