November 5, 2009 Western flair for worship Sunday at Ritzville Nazarene church
The Ritzville Church of the Nazarene will host special guests on Sunday, Nov. 8, for the morning service. Deb Copenhaver and Blayne McCoy will present music to inspiring true-life stories during the service with a western flair. Copenhaver was the world champion saddle bronc rider in 1955 and 1956. He made his home in Creston, with his wife Cheryl, where they bred and raised quality quarter horses and operated Deb’s Café. He has long since retired and enjoys a quieter life, enjoying his grandchildren and a few special horses he has held onto. He and his wife have hosted a Christian Cowboy camp meeting at their facilities for the past 24 years, and love to share the gospel any chance they get. McCoy is the pastor of Bustin’ Loose Cowboy Ministries. He and his family minister at rodeos, fairs and other western events around eastern Washington. He is also the men’s ministry leader at Colville Church of the Nazarene and makes his home in Chewelah with his wife Vonnie and their youngest son, Caleb. |
