Lind council approves final phase of airport project

The required paperwork for the final phase of the Lind Airport Improvement Project was approved during the April 22 Lind Town Council meeting.

The council adopted Resolution No. 08-03, which provides that the town will provide $13,157.89 in matching funds for the project and receive $250,000 from the grant if approved.

The grant will fund construction of the remaining aprons, and if funds are available installation of beacons and lights is planned.
